Dessa teamed up with a new Canadian bank and spent nearly two months together to discover how artificial intelligence could innovate the bank’s internal operations. Dessa and their client focused their AI deployment on the bank’s deposits department where it was believed machine learning algorithms would deliver the most effective and impactful results for the bank. Over several weeks, the teams conducted interviews, workshops and collected enough data to come up with more than three dozen examples how AI could be integrated within the bank’s processes.
The results were whittled down to a shortlist to determine the best fit for the bank’s goals. Each case study the Dessa team explored was also aimed to distinguish the bank from other institutions and ultimately, help build customer trust and loyalty. A case study focused on reducing customer attrition was determined to be the best option to work on, while other concepts that were discuss would be used to fill out the bank’s AI roadmap over the next year.
